The Hall Family (Kevin, Corli, Clark, Hudson Hall) - News From South Africa
Dear Friends and Family,
God has been working in a special way the past couple of months. Like always the only thing we can do is brag on what a mighty God we serve!
VISITORS
In January we had a group come over and visit with us. They were headed up by my cousin, Mark Coffey. He brought his wife and several church members from his home church to see the mission field. They were all a huge blessing and encouragement. As you are probably already aware by my previous letters, Mark is currently on deputation to come to South Africa as full-time church planting missionary. If you haven’t already contacted him for a meeting I assure you he would be a blessing to your church and a real investment in foreign missions. WELLS ESTATE BAPTIST CHURCH
God is continuing to mature and establish these new churches. Wells Estates Baptist Church just celebrated it’s 1st year anniversary. They held their charter service on the same day. They also celebrated the welcoming of their new pastor Thamsanqa Olifant. God is really moving amongst this church. I get reports weekly of people being saved and baptized. Pastor Olifant is continuing to develop into a man of a great God. I thank God for Thami and his humble heart. It is obvious that God is using Him and the Wells Estate Baptist Church.
SERVANTS OF CHRIST BAPTIST CHURCH
Servants of Christ continues to see people saved. They hold services from Thursday night through Sunday morning every week. They are beginning to get some faithful people. I just read one of Pastor Mkontwana’s updates and he says that many women and children are attending and getting saved but men have been very scarce. Would you help lift this church up in prayer? They are in a really bad area. These people desperately need to be set free. Pray with us that God would save more men and families would worship together at Servants of Christ Baptist Church.
MADIBA BAY BAPTIST CHURCH
Pastor Bonga of Madiba Bay Baptist Church just returned from a preaching trip up to Johannesburg. He was visiting and preaching for another South African pastor.This was a first for him and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Madiba Bay is doing well but they also need your prayers in reaching more families for Christ. Many have been saved recently and at least two are set to be baptized this coming Sunday. Lastly, please keep the Pastor's School in your prayers. We have about 8 young men taking classes. Right now we are teaching O.T. and N.T. survey and will be starting Hermeneutics very soon.
